Art education, in particular, encourages students to observe the world from many different angles.

An example is to take a well-known quote: I have used this one: We choose to go to the moon. ~ Ask a knowledge based question and the expand from there to questions that ask students to use what they have learned and apply knowledge or make inferences.

Opportunities for enhancing critical thinking can be used in addition to performing and visual arts.
